I wanted to let you know how pleased I
am with the completion of the training
program for my dog Gracie. From our
first meeting you always appeared
very professional, knowledgeable and
you listened to my expectations. Your
statement that you “guaranteed

I read several dog training books but it was quickly apparent that I
needed professional help. I had contacted other trainers in the area but
you were the only one that came to my house and as a training model
performed all training activities at my house and not in the back room of
a pet store or kennel. Gracie was very at ease in her environment and I
think this helped accelerate the training process.
How you got Gracie to stop pulling at the leash and to start the process
of heeling within the first 20 minutes of lesson one is amazing. Did you
“whisper” to Gracie? Each succeeding lesson built on the last lesson and
the progress was amazing. Our meetings at my house also let you
assess Gracie at home and your trained eye pointed out areas of
concern for training. As you recall, you noticed Gracie was underfoot
when I was in the kitchen. Your suggestion to break this habit resulted in
Gracie now having a place to go to when I am in the kitchen.
Your suggestion of taking Gracie to dog parks to socialize her was a
great idea. At first she was terrified of the other dogs but subsequent
visits set her at ease with the other dogs and she now thinks she owns
the park! Also your voluntary clinics on the weekends add reinforcement
training to all the dogs (and owners!)that participate and further adds to
the socialization of the pets.
I couldn’t be prouder of Gracie today due to her obedience training. Any
dog owner that has a pet that does not mind, doesn’t respond to
commands or lacks socialization with other dogs is missing out on the
meaning of a true dog companion. I have recommended your services to
other dog owners and will continue to do so based on my favorable
experience with your training methods.
